Babies and caregivers will come together in a whole new way in this interactive, movement based class. Based on attachment and developmental theories of dance/movement therapy, activities will focus on bonding and attunement through dancing together. While learning new ways to interact with your baby, you will also participate in activities that promote sensory integration and rhythm development while stimulating developmental movement skills. The class will consist of 45 minutes of instruction followed by 15 minutes for questions and conversation. Come nurture yourself and your baby in this unique setting!

This class is ideal for babes age 2-8 months, but babes from 0 to 12 months are welcome!

Mariah Meyer LeFeber

Mariah Meyer LeFeber is a dancer, licensed therapist, and general lover of movement! She holds her MA in dance/movement therapy and counseling from Columbia College Chicago, and is certified as a Yoga Fit Kids! instructor. Mariah has worked extensively with children of all ages and abilities as a dance instructor, yoga instructor and dance/movement therapist. She has worked throughout the Midwest, and after teaching and dancing in Minneapolis and Chicago, she is thrilled to bring her passion to Madison and Happy Bambino. Mariah’s ultimate love is combining developmental, functional and expressive elements in order to build creative and fulfilling movement experiences.
