Come join a community of parents and babies where parents can ask questions, visit, and interact with other parents of infants, ages 6-12 months.

The first 15 minutes of this group is social, followed by facilitated discussion. Discussion is generated and led by the facilitator.

Children: Babies in this group range from 6 months to beginning walkers (approx. 6-12 months). Babies are, of course, welcome (but not necessary for attendance).

Meeting Time: This group meets every Monday from 10:00am - 11:30am.   (The group previously met Friday mornings)

Fees:  

• Members: Group attendance is FREE for Happy Bambino Members.
• Non-Members: You do not need to be a member to attend groups. You may instead choose to pay the $5 per group fee. Or you may purchase a package of group passes - 5 for $20- or - 10 for $30.
• First group: Non-members are welcome to attend their first meeting of any particular group at no charge - before committing to a membership or paying the group attendance fee.

Lea Wolf is mother to daughter Ma'iingan (1/02) and co-founder of Happy Bambino. She is a Native woman (Bad River Anishinaabe) and has lived in Madison for the better part of 8 years, having moved here initially to attend the University. Lea has a bachelors in American Indian Studies and Educational Policy, and has completed the coursework for her master's in Educational Policy at the UW. She and her daughter's father strive to co-parent Ma'iingan in ways that support and build upon the values of parenting that they hold dear.  Lea is a birth/postpartum doula.
